My friend Anne Q took this picture of the Great East Window at the 4th Presbyterian Church in Chicago. It seemed so perfect for our prayer requests section.
Thank you for all of your prayers. The surgery went long (5 hours instead of 3 hours) but well.
The fibroid was large; the surgeon had a specialist view it, making sure it was not cancerous. She also had another specialist view my ureter, as the fibroid had to be detached from it. I had an overnight stay but am now resting at home. We are thankful for all the wonderful meals which have been provided and will continue throughout the week. We are praising our loving Lord Jesus for His unsearchable greatness.
Psalm 145:3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
That’s great, Debbie. I will continue to pray for you.
I have both a prayer and praise. Praise: my one student who studied with me two weeks ago multiplied to three last week. We started Romans and will continue today.
Prayer: continued wisdom both in gaining knowledge, but also in carrying out the study in a smart way so that we do not cause any trouble. Two of the girls are believers, but one is not. She seems to have limited knowledge of the Bible, but the other two girls were great at explaining and even sharing some of the gospel. Their names are Zoe, Helen, and Nancy. I also had a student who recently told me that she is interested in becoming a Christian, but is scared of what her parents will do. I don’t know her well so I need guidance in regards to how I should approach her.
Debbie, we have been praying for you! how are you?
